As noted in other reviews, the user (senior) cannot video call out to Android phones. I called and spoke with customer service who indicated this is a known bug and have suggested some work arounds - such as reinstalling the app (didn't work for me), disabling data saver (also didn't work). The best case scenario for Android is to see that the senior had called (it leaves a notification immediately that they tried calling) and you can then open the app and call them back (it seems to work calling them). This is a pretty significant flaw as it doesn't eliminate frustration for the senior. The app for family is a little clunky and while those who are tech savvy don't have much trouble, it could be an issue for some. Otherwise, the ability to use the remote viewer is helpful and the option to launch new features is helpful. Customer service is ok, but you call an answering service first and wait for them to call you back. We'd love to see this running more smoothly soon!!!
We've tested and tested this app, but my mother cannot video, call out to us on this app. It rings and rings on her end and nothing happens on ours. We can video call to her, however. I've had difficulties adding contacts as well. It is not straightforward to them as to how to accept the invitation. Some are not receiving an email so I've tried to edit their email and it doesn't seem possible. Some kinks to work out
Similar to the desktop console. Works well on galaxy s6. Still the best system out there for getting my grandmother online and sending family photos.
Considering the few programs there are of this kind, I consider this quite good. All functions work, with no issues so far.
Can't type messages properly on android device and uploading photos doesn't seem to work either. Samsung S5 being used.
